Heard a lot about this place and thought checking out Mocha this Holi. On a fine day of Holi, I chose to step into the Mocha for dinner with my family and left awestruck at the cosy comfy interior of the restaurant. We ordered for one plate of Hot Tennessee Style Chicken Wings and one Mezze Platter for starters and kept the menu for the main course ready. For Dinner, we discussed and thought of ordering Nasi Goreng, Tex Mex Chicken and Grilled Fish with Lemon Caper Sauce. But before that, it was the time for the starters to arrive and just when the waiter served us with it, we could not resist but cherish the great taste. The very taste of the starters was enough to give us an idea of how great our main course is to please us and yes, that’s what had happened. Later, we wrapped our great food journey with a Mocha Lava Lava desert each.

We simply loved the very taste of our food, got to discover many new ingredients and flavours like chicken satay, pita, falafel, tzatziki; and came out of the Mocha filled and content, both the stomach and our mind.

A popular name among the young crowd of Guwahati and a new destination to treat yourself with some exotic bites. The ambiance just appeals itself to be a classic coffee bar and there is a separate cabin for the smokers to cater to their needs. The place is spacious enough and most importantly it did justice to what we ordered. We ordered the Non Veg Poutine which was a snack to be remembered for a long time.It is a simple dish but elegantly served. We even ordered the Thai Chicken Satte which was a little average snack but went quite well with the sauces served.Go for the starters and I'm sure you'd not hesistate to pay another visit to it. PROS-
A good parking area
Quite pocket friendly
Good for dual citizens :p (that means this place is an ideal place for the couples)

CONS
So far so good! will tell you after another visit.

Back in Delhi, Mocha used to be a regular haunt for me and my friends. So when we heard that they have set up shop in Guwahati too we made it a point to visit the same.

Our craving for a shake brought us here. The place is huge. Brick architecture. Wooden bar. Comfortable table and chairs/swings. The staff was courteous but a lil late to respond to things. From serving us the water to showing us the menu.

We ordered the following as we were having a sweet tooth that evening.
1. Banoffee Pie
2. Ferrero Rocher Shake

We were full half way through devouring this delicious combo. They have an amazing food stylist I must say. Again they could have done much better to cheer up the place and a lively music would help to do that. But you can always carry on a good conversation with your friend here and if alone, they have a few books on the rack which you can go through!
